Not a great one, but I'm getting there haha!
But I actually used to be a Skip-the-Dishes delivery boy who probably ate a bit too much cheesy bread. "Fitness" was not in my vocabulary.
I started CrossFit to become someone better than I was.
Someone who could overcome any kind of obstacle that came in my way.
Sadly, it did not turn out the way I wanted it to.
In fact, I was GARBAGE at CrossFit!
I could barely do a clean, my snatches were God-awful and for the life of me, I couldn't do my overhead squats.
But the real problem was that no matter what I did, I just couldn't get the proper energy to fuel my WODs.
Because the workouts were so intense, I'd immediately lose all my drive midway.
My "engine" couldn't keep up!
I was so embarrassed.
Especially considering, I'm a reasonably fit human.
So it was a huge blow to my pride.
Then one day, something really bad happened....
One night, after an especially brutal WOD, I was driving back home.
Tired as hell, my hand slowly slipped off the steering wheel,
and my eyes started to close...
No I didn't crash my car. But if it wasn't for that truck's horn,
I would have been dead.
It did make me realize the importance of improving your energy, and that's why I dedicated each waking hour to learning more about it.
And that's why I created SUNFIRE
